Zamalek chairman Hussein Labib said the club has received no offers regarding its football company so far and denied reports to the contrary. He said the club is working to value the company, with the aim of increasing its capital through a public and private offering.
Labib explained that Zamalek has not discussed selling the club, but rather increasing the capital of the football company, with the possibility of transferring some assets linked to the football team to it. He stressed that these assets do not include real estate, the club’s logo or its social facilities.
He added that Zamalek does not belong to him and that the board of directors works collectively and will consider the offers it receives. The matter of investors has not yet been decided, while Labib hopes to secure the best financial offer for the company.
