Argentina are scheduled to face Uruguay on Saturday, November 14, before taking on Costa Rica on Tuesday, November 17. Messi played his last match for the national team against Benin, in a friendly that ended in an Argentina win.
Coach Lionel Scaloni has decided not to assign the number to a player during the upcoming international break, while the identity of its future wearer has yet to be decided.
