Mundo Deportivo warned of the danger posed by Aston Villa striker Nicolas Jackson ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League league-phase matchday-four meeting with Barcelona. Barcelona are eighth on six points, while second-placed Aston Villa have nine points.
The newspaper quoted Miguel Álvarez, Jackson’s former coach with Villarreal’s second team, as saying that the Senegalese striker is very fast despite standing 187 cm tall and having a strong build. He also pointed to Jackson’s improvement in his final touch and finishing, as well as his ability to move off the ball and exploit space.
Jackson has played 12 matches for Aston Villa in all competitions this season, scoring eight goals: five in the Premier League and three in the Champions League.
