Christos Tzolis returned to fitness after several weeks out with a hamstring injury and started for Arsenal in their win over Liverpool last week. The player said he now feels fit and strong after his rehabilitation and is ready to help his team.
Tzolis explained that his enthusiasm in training and desire to give his all earned him the chance to play, while Mikel Arteta said the player's energy in training had persuaded him to start him against Liverpool. His return comes as Eberechi Eze is dealing with an ankle problem, and Tzolis is expected to be available for the match against Hull City.
Tzolis said Christian Mosquera was the first of his teammates to help him settle in, after they grew close during pre-season. He added that his teammates and the Greek community in London made his move to the city easier, although the packed match schedule made it difficult to find time to meet outside football.
Tzolis joined Arsenal from Club Brugge for around £34 million, but has yet to score in a competitive match for the club, despite impressing during pre-season.
