Paris Saint-Germain beat Villarreal 6-0 to move clear at the top of the Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain beat hosts Villarreal 6-0 in the fourth round of the Champions League league phase, moving clear at the top of the table after winning all four of their matches.

João Neves scored the opening goal in the ninth minute, and Désiré Doué and Senny Mayulu added the second and third goals in the 12th and 13th minutes, before Fabián Ruiz scored the fourth in the 17th minute. Ruiz scored his second goal in the 50th minute, then substitute David Boly completed the scoring in the 78th minute, making the most of a pass from Neves.

Paris Saint-Germain moved up to 12 points, while Villarreal remained on three points after suffering their third defeat in the competition.
