Mido urges Emam Ashour to focus and regain his form at Al Ahly

Ahmed Hossam Mido sent a message to Al Ahly player Emam Ashour, urging him to focus in the coming period and work to regain his form. He said the club wants to support and help him, not get rid of him.

Speaking on television, Mido said Al Ahly officials want Ashour to make the expected contribution and lead the team, noting that the management renewed his contract and met his requests.

He added that Ashour has great talent, and that the criticism and pressure the player faces are intended to push him to give his best. He stressed that no one at Al Ahly is working against him.

Mido urged him to understand that he is part of the Al Ahly setup, to work hard and put the team's interests first. He said the coming period demands a lot from him and that more is expected of him than he has delivered so far.
