Liverpool and Barcelona Interested in Signing Levi Colwill from Chelsea

A report says Liverpool and Barcelona are interested in Chelsea defender Levi Colwill, while the London club is seeking to agree a new contract with him. The England international’s current deal expires in 2029, and Chelsea hopes to resolve his future in the coming period.
According to a source cited by the report, Barcelona considers Colwill a prominent target after monitoring his performances and statistics, and there has been internal discussion about making an offer that could come in January. However, other sources played down the likelihood of offers arriving soon, and the report said Chelsea intends to speak with the player in the new year.
The report said Chelsea wants to keep Colwill, but may consider an offer of between £65 million and £75 million, based on figures circulated by intermediaries. It added that the club values the future of the player, who progressed through its academy, although injuries have partly affected his development.
