Bayern Munich have renewed the contract of English striker Harry Kane, keeping him at the club until 2029 and ending speculation about his future. Kane said he feels at home at the club, that he and his family are happy in Munich, and that he is looking forward to winning more titles.
The report said Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur three years ago and won the German league with the team in 2025 and 2026, as well as the German Cup last season. It also noted that he reached 100 goals in the German league in 98 matches, becoming the fastest player to reach that figure in the competition’s history.
Internationally, the report said Kane equalled the record for appearances for England, held by Peter Shilton, reaching 125 matches after the game against Czechia. He is the national team’s all-time leading scorer with 91 goals.
Bayern president Herbert Hainer praised Kane’s time at the club, describing his high-profile move as an extraordinary chapter in the club’s history. He also congratulated the sporting management on extending the contract.
