Bayern Munich Not Competing with Chelsea for Desire Doue

Bayern Munich are not expected to rival Chelsea for Paris Saint-Germain winger Desire Doue, according to journalist Christian Falk, while TEAMtalk previously linked the player with the English club.

Falk explained that Bayern tried to sign Doue when he was a young player, but the deal was expensive at the time and the player chose to move to Paris. He added that Bayern cannot pay the fee Paris Saint-Germain might demand, as the club does not want to sell the player.

A TEAMtalk report said Doue appears likely to sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain. The outlet believes Bayern's absence from the race could benefit Chelsea, but may not change the chances of a deal much, given that the player is expected to stay in Paris.
