Barcelona praises Hamza Abdelkarim after he scores in training

Barcelona praised the potential of its young Egyptian striker Hamza Abdelkarim, 18, after posting a clip of him scoring in training ahead of the Champions League match against Aston Villa.

The clip showed Abdelkarim receiving the ball in front of the penalty area and shooting it into the net. The club commented on the video, describing him as a “natural goalscorer”.

Abdelkarim is training with Barcelona, hoping to get more playing time under coach Hansi Flick. The team hosts Aston Villa on Tuesday evening at Camp Nou, in the fourth round of the league phase.
