Olympique Marseille beat hosts Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 in the fourth round of the Europa League group stage, with Algerian striker Amine Gouiri scoring the winner as the French side claimed an away victory and returned to winning ways in Europe.

The only goal of the match came in the 77th minute, when Gouiri finished off an attack with a powerful shot that found the net. Marseille held on to its lead until the end, as its defensive organisation limited the threat from the hosts.
