A source close to Al Ain told Kooora that Sofiane Rahimi’s hamstring injury is not minor and that he may miss Morocco’s camp this November for fear of aggravating it.
The source added that Rahimi was ruled out of Al Ain’s match against Saudi side Al Ittihad, scheduled for Monday in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite, because he is undergoing an intensive treatment programme.
The source said the player’s return date depends on how he responds to treatment, explaining that the club will not risk fielding him with difficult challenges approaching in various competitions.
