Pau Torres warns Aston Villa about Lamine Yamal’s threat ahead of Barcelona clash

Aston Villa defender Pau Torres said he was looking forward to facing Lamine Yamal and Barcelona in the Champions League at Camp Nou on Tuesday evening, warning that the Barcelona player is difficult to deal with.

Torres, who got to know Yamal while they were together with Spain, said the player can catch defenders by surprise and is unpredictable. Keeping watch on him may require more than one player, with defensive cover needing to be provided carefully.

Torres also felt that Yamal deserved to win the Ballon d’Or, despite Harry Kane’s impressive statistics, and said he was confident Yamal would become the best player in the world in the future.
