Regulations expert Mohamed Bayoumi said the three-match suspension imposed on Hossam Hassan by the Disciplinary Committee of FIFA would not carry over to Ali Maher if he takes over as Egypt coach in his place.

Bayoumi explained that the suspension is a personal sanction linked to the person against whom it was imposed, so Ali Maher would not be required to serve it.
