Reports: Aston Villa and Everton Interested in Barcelona Prospect Ibrahim Tonkara

Mundo Deportivo reports that Aston Villa and Everton have shown interest in signing Ibrahim Tonkara, a Barcelona La Masia academy player. However, sources close to the player have not confirmed the interest.

According to the report, both clubs tried to persuade 16-year-old Tonkara to move to England to continue his development. However, his departure from Barcelona appears difficult, as he is under contract with the club until the end of June 2029.

Tonkara is considered one of La Masia's standout talents and has trained with the first team more than once, as well as taking part in pre-season under Hansi Flick. He plays as an attacking midfielder and caught the eye during Barcelona's 3-3 draw with Aston Villa in the UEFA Youth League.
