Milan face Genoa looking to bounce back from European defeat

Milan travel to face Genoa at four o’clock on Sunday at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in the eleventh round of Serie A, seeking a return to domestic wins after their 0-2 European defeat to Ferencváros.

Milan come into the match after beating Inter Milan in the derby, while Genoa hope to make the most of home advantage and continue their positive run of results. They have won four of their last five league matches under coach Daniele De Rossi and climbed to eleventh place.

Milan are looking to continue their recent dominance in meetings with Genoa, who have not won any of their last ten league matches against them, while the hosts hope to end that run. Ahead of the round, Milan sit fifth with 21 points, while Genoa are eleventh with 13 points.
