The Egyptian Football Association announced details of a visit to Turkey by Hany Abu Rida, the association’s president and a member of the FIFA Council, where he was received by Turkish Football Federation President Ibrahim Hacıosmanoğlu. Their meeting addressed strengthening cooperation between the two associations, exchanging technical and administrative expertise, and developing national-team preparation, refereeing and talent.
The two sides agreed to prepare a cooperation protocol that includes holding joint training camps for youth, under-age and women’s national teams, as well as exchanging expertise and organising joint programmes to develop refereeing. They stressed the importance of continuing coordination to support football in both countries.
The visit is scheduled to include attending a Trabzonspor match in the Turkish league and meeting Mohamed Salah, who the source says plays for the club.
