Cristiano Ronaldo Appears with His Son in Lisbon After Retiring from International Football

Cristiano Ronaldo has appeared in a circulating video with his son Cristiano Jr. at his new palace in Lisbon, in his first widely circulated appearance since announcing his retirement from international football. The clip shows Ronaldo driving a golf cart alongside his son during his holiday in Portugal.

Ronaldo announced on Thursday that he was retiring from Portugal's national team, ending a career that began in August 2003 and spanned more than 23 years. In a video message, he said it was time to return the number 7 shirt to the national team and pass it on to the future.

Ronaldo ended his international career after making 234 appearances and scoring 146 goals for Portugal, according to the source, which says he led the team to victory at the 2016 European Championship and the 2019 and 2025 UEFA Nations League, and played in six editions of the World Cup.
